One of the most life changing experiences was the summer of 1999 in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania (USA) during "The Global Village for Future Learders of Business & Industry".

The Global Village (GV) definitely has been one of the best summers in my life and has been an experience that I think would be good for everyone. After finishing the GV I left with the feeling of having a home anywhere in the world where I met villagers from. Luckilly for me I have been able to meet with quite a few of them from Brazil to South Korea, from Sweden to Malaysia and I am sure more is still to come!

In short I went to the USA for about 2 months to participate at a summer program, with people from all over the world. The six week program brings together intelligent, interesting and funloving high potentials albeit students, graduates aswell as business people. During this program you get Business & Leadership courses, as well as Cultural Experiences, Teamworking and many exciting excursions to visit prominent places in the US (in our year we visited the New York Stock Exchange, the WorldBank, the Amish and many more other trips). This whole mix provides for a multicultural dynamic atmosphere in which friendships and even marriages blossom!
